The platform inherits GPON service configuration and O&M, simplifying network upgrades while providing significantly higher bandwidth. Its compact 1U design reduces space requirements and supports easy installation and maintenance. Mixed ONU networking is supported, helping operators reduce deployment and replacement costs. The NE5810 series offers two models: NE5810‑08 with 8 XGS‑PON combo ports, and NE5810‑16 with 16 XGS‑PON combo ports. It features rich Layer 2/3 capabilities, flexible management, and multiple protection protocols including FlexLink, STP/RSTP/MSTP, ERPS, and LACP, as well as RIP and OSPF routing.
